What a White Christmas it was!!!

Im still recouping from the last 48 hours!!

With Christmas eve came the usual traditions... cookie baking, movie watching, story reading fun... oh & the The Great Blizzard of 2009!!!

We got 14 inches of snow... thats is unheard of in Oklahoma City!!! Ice maybe, snow... NEVER!!

This was in the middle of the blizzard... we got about 5 more hours of crazy snow... the kids just sat at the windows in awe & anticipation! :)

And to wake up christmas morning to all that beautiful white was breathtaking!!

We had friends brave the roads to come spend christmas day with us.. but they got stuck here for the night!! So we made the best of it & with piles of blankets & pillows, & giant bowls of popcorn we all settled in for the best slumber party ever!!

And with all these kids everywhere... it made for some awesome snowball fun!!

Holiday Hub-Bub...

I drove home from work today with my head buzzing... with all the To Dos in my days...
Work party.... find that super awesome ugly christmas sweater, & make 14 fabulous gifts for 14 awesome crafters... schedule appointments for ALL kids to get teeth cleaned, & add me in there while Im at it...
Pack Cjs slumber party stuff, & grab present tomorrow...

All that & more was zipping through my head when I picked the kids up from school... & then there went more ToDos!!...
Kids party favors... gotta bake cookies for teachers gifts... get the dog into be groomed... mail all out of state presents...

dog needs shots....

FINALLY we made it home, & as I was getting dinner preped & the chef & I were going over the massive list that is consuming my life I hear a tiny giggle from the tree... & this is what I find....



THIS is why I love Christmas... THIS is why all the craziness is worth it...

Where oh Where has the Tawny-kins gone???

Well blogmates, here we are again... me with the proverbial ball dropped now for several months, & you, (the few of you that are left) waiting for me to pick it back up.

This is me... Picking it back up.

I wont give you all the reasons I have NOT been letting you into my little corner of the universe... I will just give you my sincerest appologies, & ask your forgivness.
