Its funny the pictures that I take of Miss Bella that inspire me... that just strike something in me that says.... wow... thats MY daughter... the one that I prayed so long to have, the one that I dont quite understand, & the one that makes me want to tear my hair out at times...

She is everything I want to be... & I cant wait to see what this firey little beauty will become....

For now she is content modeling for mommy....


however, we must have sillyness!!!



& then there is the waiting.... this is when I get Mommy.. are we done yet? I want my heart candy!

A day at the Zoo....

What a super fun day!! Cjs K5 class went on their Zoo trip today... nothing better than a day with 35 6yr olds! tee hee!
We were lucky enough to get paired up with Josh... (Cjs BFF) so it was smooth sailing!

We rode the carousel ...





& we checked out the Lorikeets.... & let them drink nectar out of our hands!!



& the new Lion cubs are the sweetest things ever!



Bellas favorite animal was the elephant.... we even had to get a stuffed one on the way out.... His name is Horton!


I am completely exhausted.... & wind burned.... & ready to crash... but it was an awesome day hangin out with my kiddos & their buddies!

A Bit of inspiration....

We all know dear friends that inspiration comes from so many places that one cant really keep track... or at least in my life that would be the case... little things like the way the light is playing on the big pile of junk on my desk... or the smudge of chocolate Tink left on her cheek today when she thought she had gotten away with the MEGA CHOCOLATE CAPER! All of these things stike something in me that cause different reactions... INSPIRATION!!!

I Posted a "challenge" to my boutique group today... find photos that inspire you... & tell me why... now not many of them participated today, & Im sure that I will recieve more over the weekend... but here is what WE found so far...

this is my friday find...i need replace the one i took off kendall's car seat...but i just can't see paying a lot of money for something i think i could make...if i only had a pattern!!

okay...I picked these today because... color makes me happy!!! I LOVE color!! I look for the brightest way to do EVERYTHING... I mean from my sunny yellow living room... to my hot pink hair... I commit to color!
& I love whymsy... I believe in fairies & wishes... & being silly for silly's sake!! & even tho is dreary outside my window... when I look at these... it brightens my day!

Holy Cow... its been 14 days....

Since I have been on here.... what is up with that!.... I would like to say it was because I have been sooooo busy creating & mothering that I just have not had the time to think... however... its mostly been beacuse I have been a bit of a funk... & not really "in the mood"... I am really tired of these cold drizzly days... & then the tease of spring one day & back to freezing drizzle the next... YUCK!... however... being the good host that I am... or hope to be rather, let me catch you up on my time away...

We watched the superbowl... not that we were pulling for anyone really, but still we watched... & got nice & drunk on the yummiest margaritas EVER!....



.... The new HDTV that hubs ordered DID NOT make it in time for the big game...
however it did arrive 3 days later & you would have thought that the kids had never seen television before...
the house has been full of ooohhhs & ahhhs over the new GIANT TV... geesh!



We also recieved our prize from Baby Go Retro...

oh & then we had Valentines... which was really busy & even now the day after... is still busy for my super chef hubs!...
