What a White Christmas it was!!!

Im still recouping from the last 48 hours!!

With Christmas eve came the usual traditions... cookie baking, movie watching, story reading fun... oh & the The Great Blizzard of 2009!!!

We got 14 inches of snow... thats is unheard of in Oklahoma City!!! Ice maybe, snow... NEVER!!

This was in the middle of the blizzard... we got about 5 more hours of crazy snow... the kids just sat at the windows in awe & anticipation! :)

And to wake up christmas morning to all that beautiful white was breathtaking!!

We had friends brave the roads to come spend christmas day with us.. but they got stuck here for the night!! So we made the best of it & with piles of blankets & pillows, & giant bowls of popcorn we all settled in for the best slumber party ever!!

And with all these kids everywhere... it made for some awesome snowball fun!!

Holiday Hub-Bub...

I drove home from work today with my head buzzing... with all the To Dos in my days...
Work party.... find that super awesome ugly christmas sweater, & make 14 fabulous gifts for 14 awesome crafters... schedule appointments for ALL kids to get teeth cleaned, & add me in there while Im at it...
Pack Cjs slumber party stuff, & grab present tomorrow...

All that & more was zipping through my head when I picked the kids up from school... & then there went more ToDos!!...
Kids party favors... gotta bake cookies for teachers gifts... get the dog into be groomed... mail all out of state presents...

dog needs shots....

FINALLY we made it home, & as I was getting dinner preped & the chef & I were going over the massive list that is consuming my life I hear a tiny giggle from the tree... & this is what I find....



THIS is why I love Christmas... THIS is why all the craziness is worth it...

An UNBirthday Surprise....

Well the party is coming to an end.... empty tea pots & cookie crumbs litter the floor... & the poor door mouse is stuck to the wall with jam!!

Our Wedding Photo Shoot....

Bella had the opportunity today to model in a wedding shoot for Hobby Lobby... it turned out just beautiful!! ... & what made it even cooler was I "made" all the stuff in it!....



It was 100 degrees out & you never would have known it the kids were champs!!





Im so proud of her!!....

Long time No post!

Whats up Bloggmates!!

Its been awhile!

Sometimes life just gets in the way.... what with the new job... & the holidays.... & family stuff I feel like this is the first time in many weeks that I have gotten to really sit down & spend sometime here!.... So I am gonna make this post short & sweet...

There are LOTS of changes going on at Bada Blingg, starting with possible passing of the new lead regulations from the CPSIA in regards to handmade childrens products, which means that I will no longer be creating products for kiddos... :( I am so sad! If this law passes its going to shut down millions of small buisnesses. We will know if the law passes Feb 10th 2009. If you want to keep getting fabulous pretties for your little ones go HERE and sign this petion.

BUT on the plus side, it has forced me to finally launch my adult line of Bada Blingg... which is really funky fresh & very cool!! Sneek Preview coming soon....
